Dr. Hinkle graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
After graduation she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Texas and entered veterinary practice in the San Antonio area. She developed an interest in diagnostic veterinary ultrasound and began taking ultrasound courses with Sound-Eklin diagnostic imaging. She later became employed by Sound-Eklin assisting in their veterinary ultrasound education courses during her weekends off from private practice.
She has also had the opportunity to work for The Department of Defense as a civilian instructor for courses taught to veterinarians and veterinary technicians in the United States Army. Most recently, she trained under and worked for a board-certified radiologist performing mobile veterinary ultrasound services for veterinary clinics in the San Antonio, Boerne, and New Braunfels area.
Dr. Hinkle enjoys spending her free time with her family of four dogs and two cats as well as with her husband, Charlie, and his dog and two cats. She treasures time with her mom and sharing their common interest in quilting. Her other interests include hiking with the dogs, reading, photography, and interior design.
