Dr. Marissa Klein - Veterinarian

Although Dr. Marissa Klein is a Colorado native, San Antonio has been her home since 1996.

Upon arriving in San Antonio, she worked as a molecular biology research assistant at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She had plans to move back to Colorado to go to veterinary school, but instead, her journey took her to Texas A&M where she received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2003. After graduation, she joined and worked the last 11 years at a small animal practice in San Antonio.

Dr. Klein married a Boerne native, George, and they have lived in Boerne since 2006. They have four young children, Mallory, Logan, Corey, and Ava as well as 4 four-legged kiddos. Outside of work, she helps teach Sunday school at St. John Lutheran Church, helps lead an American Heritage Girls troop, chauffeurs her kids to their various activities, and enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
