Dr. Matthew Lang - Veterinarian
Dr. Matthew Lang was born in Warren, Ohio in 1961 and grew up in the Midwest.
He graduated high school in 1980 from Naperville Central High School in Naperville Illinois. He moved to Texas soon after & received his undergraduate Biomedical Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1985. Dr. Lang then spent 4 years in the Biomedical research field & worked with Texas A&M University College of Medicine / Veterinary Medicine, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children & Medical City Dallas Advanced Surgical Institute. He then returned to Texas A&M and received his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine Magna Cum Laude in 1993. Prior to his move to the Hill Country & founding Cibolo Creek Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Lang was the owner of Forest Park Veterinary Hospital in Dallas & then a partner at North Dallas Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Lang has developed an interest in surgery and is capable of performing a variety of orthopedic & soft tissue procedures.
Dr. Lang and his wife Brenda have been married for 35 years and currently live in Boerne. They have 2 sons, Daniel their youngest son is a recent graduate of Texas A&M. Ben & his wife Sheridan live in the Dallas area with their 2 daughters. Dr. Lang & Brenda enjoy spending time outdoors & they love to travel. Their favorite trips are to Dallas to visit their granddaughters Harper & Peyton. Dr. Lang has a special interest in hunting breeds & spent much of his youth training/field trialing both pointing dogs & retrievers. When Dr. Lang isn’t working to keep his animal patients healthy, you’ll probably find him fishing or working with his two hunting dogs Sammie & Mag Pie.
